Anna Krantz
Anna Krantz is London’s fastest rising star. Her debut album, Precious Time With You was produced by Peter Van Hooke at Abbey Road Studios and one hearing alone is enough to convince anyone that a prolific young talent is at work. Precious Time With You is completely self-penned, with Anna also arranging the strings and playing piano, organ and percussion. As a singer and live performer she is a sensation – a fact that came to the attention of Will Young who chose her as his Special Guest on his recently-completed UK Arena tour. Anna played to around 150,000 people on this tour with queues for her signings stretching round the block.
Anna has had extensive airplay for her single “Sweeter Devotion” on Radio 2 as well as around the rest of the country on the larger ILR stations. Since the single’s release, Anna has been receiving 2-3 plays a week on the Terry Wogan show.

Anna’s influences are musicians/singers such as Mary Black, Rickee Lee Jones, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and James Taylor although others - like Aretha Franklin - are immediately apparent once you hear Anna’s extraordinary voice. However, it is the songs and the stories in these songs that have made the biggest impression since Anna released Precious Time With You. Indeed, as storytellers go, Anna is up there with the best of them - a London girl herself but as bold and brash in sentiment as those two great New York wordsmiths, Billy Joel and Dean Friedman.
Anna’s debut single “Sweeter Devotion” was released on i-Tunes earlier this year and her debut album “Precious Time With You” is currently on general release and available from Amazon, HMV, i-Tunes, and all good record stores.
