Jazz Crusaders featuring Wayne Henderson

We are proud to present an absolutely legendary group. The Jazz Crusaders was originally formed in 1954, then called the Swingsters. A while later they were joined by Wayne Henderson and Hubert Laws who, alongside Joe Sample became known as the ‘Jazz Crusaders’ . Throughout the 60’s they had a string of hits even though their most famous song ‘Street Life’ was not released until 1979. Their music is a classic mix of R&B, Memphis Soul and Hard Bop.
