Lucinda Belle Orchestra

The LUCINDA BELLE ORCHESTRA is led by the artist Lucinda Belle, whose vision to bring together her skills as a singer songwriter as well as a harpist resulted in her forming her Orchestra.

The Orchestra can be broken down or built up for performances. At its largest it consists of : Harp, Piano, Harmonium, Melodica, Strings, Bass, Rhythm, Ukeleli, Clarinet and Guitar.

Their live performances are unique consisting of Lucinda's songs from her latest album 'My Voice and my 45 Strings' as well as compositions from the Orchestra's first series or works.  In both her songs and orchestral works she draws her influences from rootsy, folk, soul, world, classical and jazz (Mama's and the Papa's,  Eric Satie, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, DJanjo Reinhardt) fusing world music with classical and turning classical on it's head.

The LBO are breaking through with this forward thinking approach. Expect to be drawn in by Lucinda's distinctive voice and style of writing, evoking subtle but powerful emotions. Her songs and Works are accessible to all, yet retain an enigmatic and unique quality.
