jazz negroni
Stirred over ice in a tumbler, garnished with a squeezed orange wedge. Plymouth gin, Jägermeister, Dubonnet aperitif, orange bitters. The most revered of all Italian cocktails. Named after Count Camillo Negroni who always ordered his Americano with gin instead of the soda. In the spirit of improvisation, we came up with this last week, replacing the Campari with Jägermeister.

Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large slice of lemon-peel.” This famous cocktail was created by Gilberto Preti for Ian Fleming, who used it in his first Bond novel ‘Casino Royale’ in 1951.
