Information on Stylistics

Famous for classic ‘70s show-stoppers such as “You Are Everything” and “Stop, Look, Listen to your Heart”, the Stylistics were talent spotted by Billy Perry after merging in 1966 from two separate groups; “The Percussions” and “The Monarchs”.
They made their first recording in Philadelphia of “You’re a Big Girl Now” at Virtue Recording Studio, and it became a number one hit in Philadelphia and several other nearby cities. After this musical triumph, hit veteran producer Tom Bell was contracted and hired to produce the group’s first album. Entitled “The Stylistics,” the album was a phenomenal success, and included all-time favourites “Betcha By Golly Wow” and “You Are Everything.”
After releasing six immensely popular singles, The Stylistics produced their second album, “Round Two”, which also enjoyed rave reviews and a record-breaking number of sales. And, although only Herbert Murrell and Airrion Love are the only two remaining original members of The Stylistics, they continue to perform with their trademark energy and flair, and to provide an unforgettable musical experience to their audience.
