Tom Scott is a renowned composer, arranger, conductor, producer, musical director and saxophonist. With 29 solo albums to his name, he has three Grammy awards, 13 Grammy nominations and countless appearances on more than 450 recordings by such diverse artists as, Barbara Streisand, Quincy Jones, Thelonious Monk, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and Chris Botti. Playing saxophone on an incredible number of memorable hits, from Blondie's "rapture" to Carole King's "Jazzman" and Joni Mitchell's "Court and Spark". Tom has composed more than half a dozen film scores and served as musical director for the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards and innumerable TV and network specials. The consummate musician, he has toured five continents for decades playing jazz.
Paulette McWilliams, one of the main voices behind Luther Vandross for twenty years, sang as solo/lead singer for Quincy Jones on his Body Heat Tour. Quincy introduced Paulette on his "Mellow Madness" album, and together, they co-wrote the title song. While on tour in Japan, Paulette sang a duet on stage with Sarah Vaughan with Quincy Jones conducting. She has recorded and or appeared with wide range of artists from, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Mathis, Noel Pointer, to Patty Labelle. Tom and Paulette are currently working on a new CD for Columbia Music Entertainment. Tom is playing saxophone and producing the CD he is also writing new compositions and arrangements for Paulette to record.
