Snowboy & The Latin Section, the premiere UK Latin Jazz Band: A cornerstone of the British and European Latin jazz scene for over fifteen years, Snowboy is generally considered to be one the finest congueros (conga players) this side of the Atlantic. The Latin Section are a powerful band which are shortly to release their fifteenth album, and have toured the worlds major jazz festivals . Unlike many of today's overly polished or bland Latin jazz acts Snowboys sound is full-blooded, insistent and, above all, entertaining. The bands show provides a non-stop romp through hard-hitting descargas, savory cha cha chas, and catchy mambos, reminiscent of the early works of Eddie and Charlie Palmieri.
