Arguably contemporary jazz’s biggest star, Herbie Hancock influenced piano great, Robert Glasper continues to make waves throughout the music world as leader of both the acoustic Robert Glasper Trio and the electric, hip-hop-influenced Robert Glasper Experiment as demonstrated on his recent acclaimed, Blue Note Records release, Double-Booked. In a real treat for his UK fans he appears here with The Experiment blending funky jazz with electric hip-hop beats and jazz as only he can. Featuring awesome drummer Chris Dave (Pat Metheny and Mos Def), bassist Derrick Hodge (Kanye West, Timbaland, and Herbie Hancock), and saxophonist & vocodist Casey Benjamin.
