Legendary bassist and lead singer with the hugely popular jazz-funk band Level 42, Mark King is one of the finest exponents of the ‘slap and pop’ bass style, his trademark style instantly recognizable from such iconic hits as ‘The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up)’ and ‘Lessons In Love’. He is joined here by some of his many friends from over 40 years in the business and expect lots of funky classics as King brings his instantly recognisable bass style to the Ronnies stage.

Support on all nights (except thursday) comes from the Ronnie Scott's All Stars feat. special guest singer Sumudu.

Sumudu is one of the finest singers to emerge from the UK and has sung with musical luminaries Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Elvis Costello, Sir Bob Geldof, & Mica Paris as well as performing lead roles for Disney at BBC Proms in Hyde Park.
She has also recently collaborated with UK jazz giant Jason Rebello (Sting/Jeff Beck) and founder members of Jazz-Funk legends Level 42, Mike Lindup and Phil Gould.
She has justmade her debut album 'Waiting For You' with Grammy-winning producer Kipper (Sting).
