Hunky Dory

Set in the Summer of 1976 in Swansea, Hunky Dory tells the story of a high school teacher who inspires her class to put on a rock and roll version of ‘The Tempest’ for their year-end show.  A sweet and sincere paean to the 1970s, directed by Marc Evans, with a soundtrack that celebrates pre-punk pop, and features stirring versions of songs made famous by Bowie, Nick Drake, ELO and The Beach Boys, among others.
