The Club's Website is owned and operated by Ronnie Scotts' Club. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy when dealing with the Club Online and to this end have developed this Privacy Policy to deal with issues which may concern you. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information will be treated. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time without notice so please check it periodically.
2. Personal Information
2.1 The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence and credit and debit card details ("Personal Information") will only be retained by us if you provide this information when using one of the services available on our Website, such as posting a message on the bulletin board, subscribing to one of our email lists or when purchasing tickets. Personal Information will be held on our system and used for operational purposes such as the processing of bookings and orders in connection with our Online ticket and merchandise ordering services and for mailing list subscriptions.
In order to process a transaction, your Personal Information and card details may be passed to third party service providers and by making a booking you hereby expressly agree to this . Card details will only be used for the purpose of handling an individual transaction.
The Personal Information you supply when you join one of our e-mail lists will be used by the Club to keep you up-to-date with events and activities produced by the Club. When purchasing Tickets you are given the opportunity to opt-in to receiving news and information from the Club and other arts organisations. When joining one of our e-mail lists you are given the opportunity to opt-in to receiving information from other arts organisations. The Club will only pass on your Personal Information if the relevant box has been ticked. In these instances, we supply your Personal Information for one-off use by the other arts organisation. Each e-mail we send you offers you the opportunity to amend these preferences, or you can ask us to do this, by e-mailing ronniescotts@ronniescotts.co.uk.
2.2 If you would like to revise the personal information provided to us at any time, or feel what we currently have on record is incorrect, you may update the information by e-mailing ronniescotts@ronniescotts.co.uk.
2.3 We may from time to time ask you for further information in order to update our records or for particular purposes. We will always tell you how we will use any further information received from you. From time to time we will need to send you our Website and service announcement updates.
2.4 It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality and security of your Personal Information [especially any user name and password. You agree that you will not allow others to use your user name or password and you will notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your user name and/or password. 3. Log files
3.1 Every time someone visits our web site a log file is generated on our computer.
3.2 The log file records the time and date of your visit, the files that were requested, your IP (Internet Protocol) address, the referrer URL (if provided) and the browser version. 5. GIF and other web tools

7. Use and disclosure of Personal Information
7.1 If you contact us, we reserve the right to keep a record of that correspondence and incorporate the information it contains into our database.
7.2 If we are requested by the police or a regulatory or government authority to provide information concerning your activities whilst using the network we shall do so. Similarly, we will disclose your Personal Information as part of a transaction whereby our company or business assets are transferred to a third party or if we are compelled to do so by law.
8. How we protect information
8.1 We take every precaution to protect your information. To this end all Personal Information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. Only employees and approved contractors/developers we may appoint from time to time and who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
8.2 Regular security reviews are held by us to ensure that the site remains safe and secure for your protection.
9. Surveys and Promotions
From time to time we conduct surveys and promotions and may request information from you as part of these. Participation in these is entirely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose any information which might be required. 11. Users Under 18
If you are under 18, please ensure that you obtain your parent/guardian's consent beforehand whenever you provide Personal Information to the Website. Users without such consent are not allowed to provide us with Personal Information.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
12.1 All intellectual property content on the Website including, without limitation trademarks, button icons, logos, graphics, images and digital downloads is owned by us or third parties and is protected by international copyright laws and your use of them is governed by these terms and conditions, certain end-user licence agreements, and applicable law.
12.2 You will infringe our rights and/or the rights of third parties if you copy or reproduce any part of the Site save for:
12.2.1 a temporary copy of any part of the Website is automatically made or retained by your browser as you browse the Website; or
12.2.2 you print out any pages from the Website as a record of any goods or services you have purchased from it; or
12.2.3 you print out a copy of the terms and conditions which we would request you to do; or
12.2.4 your own personal use.
Other than for the above four exceptions you must not copy the intellectual property in question for any purpose unless you have been given explicit permission in writing by the rights owners.

13. General
13.1 This Privacy Policy has been prepared to meet the requirements of the UK's Data Protection Act 1998, and it only relates to the collection, protection, disclosure and use of personal data belonging to living individuals. It does not relate to data which emanates from companies to other entities, although the general principles regarding our collection and use of data is broadly the same irrespective of whoever is the user of our Website, or our customer.
13.2 The Club may require you to change your password or any other information which permits you access to purchasing Tickets.
13.3 The Club has the right to withdraw content or functionality or any part of it from the Website for any reason without notice to you and you agree that we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or cost as a result of such unavailability.
13.4 The Club will not be liable for errors or omissions on the Website nor for loss or damage suffered by you as a result of any unavailability of the Website or by any use by you or reliance placed on the Website or its contents including any damage caused to your computer or otherwise howsoever, or any direct, indirect or consequential loss, loss of data and/or any loss of income or profits.
13.5 The Club shall not be liable to you for the failure of any equipment, data processing system or transmission link and will not be liable to you as a result of any down-time which may occur upon the Website or telephone system.
13.6 The Website is provided "as is" and you acknowledge that despite our reasonable endeavours the Website may contain bugs, errors and other problems (including, without limitation) infection by viruses (despite anti-virus protections which may be incorporated) or anything else which may cause contamination or destruction of any sort that may cause system failures. Notwithstanding, we will use all reasonable endeavours to correct any errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified by e-mail to
13.7 We reserve the right to remove you from the Club database if no communication has been received from you for three months.
13.8 The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website or parts of it if in our sole discretion we believe you are in breach of any provision of any contract or this Privacy Policy. If your access has been suspended or terminated you will not be permitted to re-register or to re-access the Website without our prior consent.
