Live music returns with a passion to the intimate and plush surroundings of our upstairs bar for our Monday to Thursday programme. Here is a rare opportunity to experience some of the best singers and instrumentalists on the London scene:  from popular New Orleans fused singer/pianists such as TJ Johnson on Monday, through ‘jazz 'n' samba’ sets from leading vocalists such as Georgia Mancino and Luna Cohen on Tuesdays, ebullient trumpeter Andy Davies with guest accompanists on Wednesdays plus mouthwatering guitar duos featuring the likes of Jim Mullen and Ant Law on Thursdays. Club DJ Mike Vitti and friends will be spinning soul, funk and jazz vinyl on Fridays and Saturdays.

Wednesday nights we present: Horn Culture, the best of instrumetal jazz led by long-time jazz jam leader Andy Davies and a special guest each week

4 Nov – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & SARAH TANDY piano

An exciting pianist, Sarah Tandy has swiftly risen to become one of the most in-demand players of her generation, performing on keys for Jazz Jamaica, Nu Civilisation Orchestra, Maisha, Mr Jukes, Yazmin Lacey, Camilla George, Nubya Garcia, Nerija, Daniel Casimir, Binker Golding, Clark Tracey and many more. She is also a member of the W3 Collective who have regularly reformed under the Ronnie Scott’s banner.

11 Nov  – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & NATHAN BRITTON piano

Nathan is the musical director & resident pianist at Piano Bar Soho, working with many world-class artists including Ronnie Scott’s favourite Andy Davies. He has performed on major radio and TV stations such as the BBC, London Live and JAZZ FM, as well as performing at the UK premiere of the Miles Davis film ‘Miles Ahead’ and as part of the London & Barcelona Jazz Festivals.

18 Nov  – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & NIGEL PRICE guitar

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, award winning jazz guitarist Nigel Price has become widely acknowledged as one of the hardest working musicians in the business.

Musically, his blend of flowing bebop lines, deep blues sensibility and his mastery of chording continue to delight audiences and fellow musicians alike. His career highlights include a support show for Gladys Knight at The Royal Albert Hall and an appearance on Van Morrison’s 2016 album ‘Keep Me Singing’.

25 Nov  – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & ROSS STANLEY piano

An exciting Hammond organ player as well as a hard swinging pianist, Ross never fails to be ‘in the moment’ and give his all to the performance. Ross’s musical skills have kept him in high demand, seeing him play with jazz names such as Will Vinson, Dennis Rollins, Guy Barker, Michael Janisch, Joel Frahm, Liane Carroll, Stan Sulzman, Steve Arguelles, John Paracelli, Bobby Wellins, Clark Tracey, as well as being a regular member of the Jim Mullen Organ Trio.

Music starts at 6.30pm.
