Bacha Mdzinarashvili Quartet
The Quartet serves the philosophy of jazz innovators like Miles Davis and Roy Hargrove of creating a new sound. Bacha Mdzinarashvili describes their shows: ‘It’s about young energy, new blood, new sound and new approach. It sounds modern and contemporary.’
The Quartet plays melodically rich and rhythmically diverse music bringing together elements of bebop, funk, soul, R&B and modern jazz into a high energy musical experience. You can feel the drive created by the rhythmic variety and hear the harmony of the themes and the melodic improvisation to the max. These young musicians play original compositions and jazz standards with power and passion putting on a great live show.
