Emma Smith - 'Bitter Orange' Album Launch

Parliamentary Jazz Vocalist of the Year Emma Smith returns for an exclusive two-night residency to celebrate the launch of her highly anticipated new album Bitter Orange.

Emma’s new album is set for release in July 2025 on Brooklyn-based label La Reserve Records, where she is the first British act to join their ultra-hip roster. The album is an intimate snapshot into the mind & personal life of a ‘self-making’ female jazz artist, on a mission to be heard and be impactful in the world today, but with a sound from yesterday.

Collaborations with Michael Bublé, The Quincy Jones Orchestra, Postmodern Jukebox and Jeff Goldblum have won Emma the hearts of jazz fans across the globe. With a triumphant 2025 world tour under her belt, performing everywhere from Hollywood to Milan to Shanghai, Emma's career continues to soar as she becomes recognised as one of the most exciting voices in jazz today.

This is a chance to be in the room to witness the magic of a just-released album being performed live in its entirety with an all-star swinging trio. Emma says: 'There’s nothing quite like performing at home, on a stage where I get to be my most authentic self. These four shows at Ronnie Scott’s are the centrepiece of my touring year, let’s launch this record in style'.

Emma Smith is one of those performers for whom we should all be heading out to hear live, and often. She never disappoints.
