These condensed arrangements of American songbook standards and others written at the time, are widely regarded as the pinnacle of Sinatra’s career with his voice at its peak is a thrilling snapshot of Sinatra’s busiest period.

The show follows the original pattern of songs with the band’s Neil Hefty arrangements faithfully transcribed from the original concerts. The late David Jacobs who presented and introduced the original Royal Festival Hall show in 1962 recorded an opening introduction which sets the scene beautifully. We are forever in his debt for taking the time to give such a major contribution to this project.
