To describe Joanna Duda as simply a pianist doesn't capture the extraordinary dimensions of the music she produces. The Polish composer creates tapestries of sound with an uncanny ability for blending subtle complexity with melodic, playful piano hooks.
Duda’s interplay with percussion and double bass in a live setting creates a vivid sonic landscape that feels both accessible and complex.
These shows are supported by Polish Cultural Institute in London under the UK/Poland Season 2025.
Duda’s fine-tuned sense of fun infuses her aesthetic, lending a kind of joyful positivity to certain elements of her music, and investing her visuals with a hipster’s irreverence.
