A return to Ronnie Scott's for Joanna Eden and her band as they tour her 7th studio album 'The Road to Paysandu'. A shy but prolific singer-songwriter, Eden's enigmatic, heart-warming original compositions will be combined with those of her heroes Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim and Burt Bacharach.

Joining Joanna will be two leading lights of Latin jazz, Andrés Lafone and Guillermo Hill, backed up by the intoxicating rhythms of UK drummer George Double.
Still high from her recent Proms duet with superstar Sam Smith at the Royal Albert Hall, Joanna is celebrating a year of music and togetherness; the spellbinding duet with Smith was soon followed by a wedding to Uruguayan bass player and co-writer Andrés Lafone. Expect heart, soul and groove!
The late Dame Cleo Laine described Joanna's voice as 'bloody marvellous', Jamie Cullum calls her ‘Brilliant’ and Sam Smith cites her as the reason for their career, saying ‘she inspired me to start writing’.
- Bass player Andrés Lafone is one of the pioneers of the UK Latin/Jazz scene. He has over 50 albums to his names and has worked with Airto Moreira, Snowboy, Jon Cleary, Basia, Matt Bianco, Da Lata, Negrocan, Monica Vasconcelos, Mike Lindup and others.
- Guitarist Guillermo Hill Guillermo Hill is a regular on the jazz and Brazilian music scenes, appearing with artists such as Ola Onabule, Mica Paris, Tom Jones, John Crawford and Monica Vasconcelos.
- Drummer George Double has played with Mica Paris, Art Themen, John Etheridge, Jack Jones and Dame Shirley Bassey.
