In what is becoming a Christmas tradition Giacomo's big band will perform Ellington and Strayhorn's interpretation of the Tchaikovsky masterpiece alongside a suite of material prepared specially for this show.

This big band represents a new sound for Smitty's incorporating new collaborators who inspire him today to celebrate this music, alongside a set of brand new repertoire from Count Basie and Jelly Roll Morton.

The fifteen-piece big band was born in the winter of 2020 at the KSTV studio. Both KSTV and this band are emblematic of Smitty's desire to push things forward no matter what. This digital music production studio breathed much needed energy into the music and the fans and the artistic community they have steadfastly nurtured over the last decade.
