Featuring atmospheric synth pads, crisp Dilla-esque hip-hop grooves, and drilling bass lines, plus the lyrical talents of MC Trifon, 'single 'AY-YO' caught the attention of WordPlay , Gilles Peterson & Wonderland Magazine. Lead single 'Memphis Grit' also showed a different flavour, highlighting Creature.'s dexterity as a drummer via its moody, broken beat soundscapes.
London-based, Netherlands-born drummer and producer Creature. presents his new EP 'Where This Body Goes, My Mind Flows'. Bringing together the rich culture of Dutch electronic music with the London jazz sound and traces of East Coast boom-bap, it's an expansive EP made for the jazz dancefloor.
We are changing the vibe with music that includes and is influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. Thursdays’ hosts will present their show with different guests each month.
On Thursdays a DJ will augment the evening starting the night until close.
Most tickets for the Late Late Show will be available at the door if advance tickets have sold out. Priority tickets available, subject to availability. Please ask for prices on the night.
