Late Late Show hosted by St. Barbe

St. Barbe are known for their progressive, genre-bending brand of jazz, dissolving the lines between jazz, rock and electronic music. St. Barbe create a rich and expansive sound world fuelled by high-octane improvisation, ethereal textures and complex beats.

St. Barbe is gearing up for the release of their second EP Shoal next year, featuring a collaboration with Mercury-shortlisted artist corto.alto. Formed in 2021, St. Barbe released their self-produced EP Shapeless, earning placements on Spotify's editorial jazz playlists and a feature in Guitar Magazine.

They supported guitarist Mike Stern in 2022, followed by their own UK tour with performances in Manchester, Nottingham, and Bristol, and a debut at Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Since the subsequent release of singles ‘Tellicherry’ and ‘Noumena’, they have amassed over half a million streams, solidifying their growing reputation as a band whose impossible-to-pin-down sound is on a trajectory all of its own.

The genre-bending trio smash together alt-rock and jazz to create a fresh, interesting space somewhere in between.
