Late Late Show with Phil Mulford

Tonight, Phil will be playing his favourite tunes played by the bass players that influenced him, Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Victor Bailey, Oscar Pettiford, Louis Johnson, Verdine White and others plus some originals.

Bassist Phil Mulford has been a fixture on the UK scene for over four decades. His credits include hundreds of sessions including TV Film and album recordings as well as countless concert appearances for an impressive array of artists including Lionel Ritchie, Chaka Khan, Lewis Taylor, Beverley Knight, The Bee Gees, Steve Hackett and Will Young. He recently worked with top US session guitarist Paul Jackson Jr, sax legend Eric Marienthal and has also gigged with the legendary Atlantic Records session drummer Bernard ‘Pretty’ Purdie amongst many other visiting soul/jazz musicians.

Every Friday and Saturday night, following the second show, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talents take to the stage for a late night blowing session. We are changing the vibe with music that includes and is influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop.

A DJ will augment the evening starting the night until close.

Most tickets for the Late Late Show will be available at the door if advance tickets have sold out.

Priority tickets available, subject to availability. Please ask for prices on the night.
