EFG London Jazz Festival - Steve Gadd Band

Steve Gadd is one of the most sought-after studio musicians in the world. Regarded as one the most influential drummers in contemporary music, Gadd can play anything, bridging different musical styles both live and in the studio.
His feel, technique, and musicality on such tunes as Paul Simon's "Fifty Ways", Steely Dan's "Aja", and Chick Corea's "Nite Sprite" assured his position in the history of the percussive arts. Today, Gadd balances frequent recording dates with a hectic touring schedule. He also has been equally passionate about producing some personal projects on which he also plays drums but at Ronnie’s we present the Steve Gadd Band.
Michael Landau is a prolific session guitarist who has played on a large number of albums since the early 1980s with artists as varied as Joni Mitchell, Seal, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd and Miles Davis to name a few.

Larry Goldings is a Grammy-nominated pianist and composer. His organ trio with Peter Bernstein and Bill Stewart has been recognized in the New York Times as "the best organ trio of the last decade.
A recent member of Gadd’s band, Travis Carlton started playing bass for his father Larry Carlton after he graduated, who he is continues to tour with. He has been a member of the Steve Gadd Band since 2022.
With a resume that boasts sessions and tours with the likes of Chick Corea to Eric Clapton to Steely Dan to Paul McCartney to James Taylor to Paul Simon to you-name them, Steve Gadd has put his indelible stamp on rock, jazz, blues, fusion and pop. If there's a form of music he hasn't played, chances are it hasn't yet been invented.
