Two for the Road

With two UK Blues Awards finals places under his belt, Chris Corcoran is considered one of Britain’s finest blues guitarists. He is also one of the only fully instrumental British blues acts. The performances with his trio and with his six-piece band, which has been formed by several decades of experience in blues clubs in the UK, are both thrilling and fascinating.

Matt Radford is one of the most seasoned and experienced double bass players in UK roots music. He has worked with Chris for many years and has appeared with among others, Peter Green, Nick Lowe, Holly Golightly, James Hunter and Big Joe Louis. Jamie Lawrence is one of the busiest upright bass players in the country. He works with the very funky Jetricks who are signed to Legere Records and has made several TV appearances, most recently in the hit BBC drama Call The Midwife.

If advance tickets have sold out there will be tickets available on the door. The club reserves the right to give away ticketed seats in the event of the ticket holder arriving after 7.30pm. In this case, the ticket holder will still be granted entry subject to availability with no guarantee of seating.
