Singer/pianist Jonathan Gee brings his special blend of blues and contemporary jazz vocal, from Ellington through Ray Charles and James Taylor to his own inimitable songs. Jazz Journal recently reviewing his ‘The Lions Revisited’ album spoke of his ‘fine voice….’ that ‘ resonates with meaning.'

As a pianist his grounding in the Harlem stride element of Monk, and his history at Ronnies playing with Joe Lovano, Pharoah Sanders, Benny Golson and many others, and his esteemed trio ( check Chez Auguste, recorded live at the club ) means a true breadth of musicianship. With him tonight is the incredible harmonica player Adam Glasser who has led his own respected bands - check his ‘Free at First’ album, been musical director for the legendary South African group the Manhattan Brothers, and has worked with the likes of Joe Zawinul, Sting and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
