We’re having a party, and you’re invited!

To celebrate our landmark 60th birthday, we will be hosting a special 60th Anniversary Street Party. The street party will take place on Saturday 20th July from 12 noon until 6pm on Frith Street in Soho, and will play host to outdoor live music from some amazing artists.

Entrance to the street party will be completely free with no advance booking required, and revelers can expect to enjoy outdoor bars, champagne cocktails and street food from the likes of Hoppers and Little Italy.

 The confirmed line-up includes:

- hotly anticipated performances from legendary saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis and his Funk Assembly

- Leading light of the nu-jazz scene in London Nubya Garcia

-  7-piece Latin jazz band Eliane & La Evolucion

- Children’s jazz group Kinetika Bloco

The street party will offer fun for all the family with a variety of children’s entertainment, including face painting and balloon modelling between 1pm and 4pm. Kids can also get stuck in to the bubble show which will take place at 2.45pm.

The Ronnie Scott’s 60th Anniversary Street Party is part of a number of birthday events to take place throughout 2019, which has included the launch of a jazz 60 playlist and will culminate in a special 60th anniversary gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall in October on 30th October 2019.
