Roy’s Big Smoke Family is a funky collective led by drummer Roy Pfeffer. The band play some of the greatest funk to come from New Orleans with original arrangements and a contemporary approach. All the while keeping it finger-snapping good!
The BSF members have played with the likes of Dr. John, Maceo Parker, Gloria Gaynor and have already made serious waves on the UK music scene. As well as having residencies upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s and other famous London clubs the band also appeared at some of the UK’s hottest festivals including the London Jazz Festival, Bestival and Secret Garden Party.
