“Jocee is effortless, just awesome; She has soul pouring out of every pore of her body. She is absolutely amazing” Ollie Winiberg BBC Introducing
Having placed her musical faith in vintage Motown and Jazz from a young age, Jocee seamlessly carries this cool into her contemporary new sound. Think Joss Stone meets Jocelyn Brown in a Jazz Café in London, and herald your hope in the scene that would unfold for true music lovers everywhere. Jocee compliments the beauty of her unique tone, with an energetic 8 piece band including bass, brass and powerful backing vocals.
“This rather stunning stunning solo debut showcases his considerable skills as a singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer of hook- laden songs” Jane Cornwell, Evening Standard
Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darwish is part of the new emerging scene of young British jazz musicians. One of London’s most in demand bassists, his main instrument, DARWISH has already performed with artists such as Sting, Imelda May, Zara Mcfarlane, just to name a few. Stepping out of the shadows and into the light, he recently released his debut album “RECLAMATION” delivering the peak of what writing pop music with and extensive knowledge of jazz could sound like; only further elevated by his inner-city Hackney upbringing and love of urban sounds.
This Sunday Live Session is in support of one the UK’s leading music charity YOUTH MUSIC for their "Give a Gig” week fundraising initiative. All proceeds from this evening will go to Youth Music.
"Give a Gig" is a serie of 100 gigs taking place nationwide during one week (16-25 March 2018). All the profits will go towards musical projects providing life-changing music-making to all children and young people.

Youth Music’s vision is that, one day; life-changing music-making will be available to all children and young people. We’re doing our very best to make that vision a reality. (www.youthmusic.org.uk)
Every year, we support more than 350 local community organisations to provide over 75,000 young people with the opportunity to make music, helping them to overcome the challenges they face in their lives. We work with children experiencing very difficult circumstances including poverty, depression, disability, isolation and bereavement. The projects we support encourage young people to develop their creative and social skills, make positive contributions to their community and improve their wellbeing.
But we know that many young people are missing out. Right now, we can only afford to support around a third of the projects that need our help.
