Shakespeare's sonnets, Bach, and a sprinkling of Verdi - an early evening charity performance in the heart of Soho! 100% of the proceeds go to selected charities.

Laurens Price-NowakShakespeare's sonnets, a Bach cello suite, and a touch of Verdi to round it off - treat yourself to an early evening injection of high culture and you'll be out by 8 pm just in time to grab dinner.

Twelve of the Bard's love poems alternate with the six movements of Bach’s first cello suite, and the evening culminates in a rendition of Ave Maria from Verdi’s Otello.

Australian-born opera singer and actress Justine Viani Image result for Justine Vianideclares her love not only to British-Dutch cellist Laurens Price-Nowak, but also to handpicked members of the audience.

Costumes are by British fashion designer Janet Rodney, concept and direction are by the German theatre and music producer Wolfgang Mittelmaier.


The Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation

The Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation (registered charity no: 1163990) was launched in December 2015 and is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the support of jazz education programmes both in the UK and overseas. The charity aims to ensure that music education is accessible to every child and young person, especially those who are under-privileged, by raising and distributing funds and gifting musical instruments to organisations that create or develop youth jazz and music programmes.

Music Fund

Music Fund is a humanitarian project that supports musicians and music schools in conflict areas and developing countries. Music Fund collects instruments, repairs them and gives them a second life in 16 projects in Africa, the Middle East and Central America.
Music Fund also trains instrument repairers and offers the exchange of teaching skills.

Play for Progress

​​Play for Progress (PFP) is a London-based charity that delivers therapeutic and educational music programmes for young people impacted by conflict, to help them engage with, learn through, and explore their capabilities in music.

You cannot buy tickets in advance for Upstairs @ Ronnie's (except on Sunday nights). Entry is on the door - or you may fill out the reservation form below if you are a group of 8 or more and are able to arrive before 8pm. Strictly Over 18's Only.
