About to release his new full-length album, Rhythm&Fado, Incognito’s percussionist and singer/songwriter will be giving a concert at Ronnie Scott's on 27th February.
João Caetano, whose electrifying performance as a percussionist has earned him a place in the international circuits, couldn’t be happier to bring to Ronnie Scott's the already promising and massive world music project, as a frontman, percussionist and singer.
Rhythm&Fado world music project sees Caetano’s energetic performance style combine elements of jazz, folk, as well as traditional Portuguese percussion and Fado.
Caetano’s Rhythm & Fado has as its core instruments, his very own traditional signature drums, the Portuguese Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Piano and Clarinet, bringing a fresh stage plot to world stages.
From Monday to Saturday and following the main act, Ronnie Scott’s presents UK’s finest talents in the Late Late Show. A late night ‘blowing session’ where invited guests and musical celebrities such as Stevie Wonder, Esperanza Spalding, Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper, Lady Gaga, Christian Scott etc who happen to be in town are showcased – you never know who might drop by! Doors 11pm (weekdays) & 1am (weekends).
