"new straightahead guitar hero in the making the south-east London based Grant Green-influenced Artie Zaitz" - Marlbank

Trinity College graduate Artie Zaitz is a guitarist of real depth equally at home with Charlie Christian or T. Bone Walker. Artie draws his influence from 50's/60's jazz recordings from artists such as Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, John Scofield but also Thelonius Monk, Grachun Moncur III, Paul Motion & Wayne Shorter. A regular late late show host, he also host the Blue Jam at the Alley Cat and regularly perform at The Kansas Smitty's Club on Broadway Market.
