Andy Davies comes from Swansea in South Wales.  Now based in London he regularly performs with jazz artists such as Ian Shaw, Gwyneth Herbert, Gary Crosby, Tomorrows Warriors, Nu Troop. He regularly plays at Ronnie Scotts jazz Club and often hosts the Ronnie Scott's Late Night Jam Session. He has performed at Londons main jazz venues such as Pizza Express Dean St and 606 Club.  

He leads the Andy Davies Quartet which is a showcase for his composing. They have toured Japan, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK. He has done pop session work with artists such as Will Young, McFly and appeared on television shows The Paul OGrady Show and Michael Parkinson Show.

You can hear and see him on television all the time, he is currently voicing continuity for the television channel Fiver. He has recently done continuity for MTV as well as being the face of the new MTV channel "VIVA", where he recently appeared in the new pop music video for the world cup alongside Alishia Dixon and Sheryl Gascoigne.

Andy is also an accomplished session musician who's trumpet playing has featured on the BBC1 program Steven Fry in America.

Each night Monday to Saturday, after the main act, RonnieScott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talents take to the stage for a late night blowing session.

FRIDAY - SATURDAY 1am-3am

In 1959, saxophonist Ronnie Scott opened the door to a small basement club in London’s west end where local musicians could jam. Today, it is one of the world’s most famous jazz clubs attracting packed houses and the biggest names in jazz and popular music and Ronnie Scott’s welcoming, stylish setting is also home to London’s coolestlate night hang.
