A swinging jazz pianist, Rick has presented critically acclaimed original projects through his band, Klammer. This year recently, he released his heartfelt take on the music of Radiohead with ‘Everything All of The Time: Kid A Revisited’. He is the regular pianist with the popular Leo Richardson Quartet.
13 Jan – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & NIGEL PRICE guitar
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, award winning jazz guitarist Nigel Price has become widely acknowledged as one of the hardest working musicians in the business.
Musically, his blend of flowing bebop lines, deep blues sensibility and his mastery of chording continue to delight audiences and fellow musicians alike. His career highlights include a support show for Gladys Knight at The Royal Albert Hall and an appearance on Van Morrison’s 2016 album ‘Keep Me Singing’.
20 Jan – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & NATHAN BRITTON piano
Nathan is the musical director & resident pianist at Piano Bar Soho, working with many world-class artists including Ronnie Scott’s favourite Andy Davies. He has performed on major radio and TV stations such as the BBC, London Live and JAZZ FM, as well as performing at the UK premiere of the Miles Davis film ‘Miles Ahead’ and as part of the London & Barcelona Jazz Festivals.
27 Jan –ANDY DAVIES trumpet & SARAH TANDY piano
An exciting pianist, Sarah Tandy has swiftly risen to become one of the most in-demand players of her generation, performing on keys for Jazz Jamaica, Nu Civilisation Orchestra, Maisha, Mr Jukes, Yazmin Lacey, Camilla George, Nubya Garcia, Nerija, Daniel Casimir, Binker Golding, Clark Tracey and many more. She is also a member of the W3 Collective who have regularly reformed under the Ronnie Scott’s banner.
