Live music returns with a passion to the intimate and plush surroundings of our upstairs bar for our Monday to Thursday programme. Here is a rare opportunity to experience some of the best singers and instrumentalists on the London scene: from popular New Orleans fused singer/pianists such as TJ Johnson on Monday, through ‘jazz 'n' samba’ sets from leading vocalists such as Georgia Mancino and Luna Cohen on Tuesdays, ebullient trumpeter Andy Davies with guest accompanists on Wednesdays plus mouthwatering guitar duos featuring the likes of Jim Mullen and Ant Law on Thursdays. Club DJ Mike Vitti and friends will be spinning soul, funk and jazz vinyl on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pianist, Deschanel Gordon was inspired at the age of ten by a video of virtuoso pianist Oscar Peterson. This sparked his love of jazz and he switched from classical to jazz piano training. Although he recently graduated from Trinity Laban, he is already making waves on the UK jazz scene winning BBC Young Jazz Musician 2020. One of the brightest prospects of his generation he has worked with the likes of Mark Kavuma, Cassie Kinoshi’s SEED Ensemble and US-born singer Judi Jackson.
3 November – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & ANDREA RINCIARI guitar
A full time Jazz guitarist, Andrea Rinciari fast becoming an established name in London.His biggest influences are Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Bud Powell, Barry Harris and many more. He has been hosting the Monday Jazz Jams at The Castle for the past six months, creating a growing platform for musicians to network and play with the houseband musicians, some of the finest UK musicians. “Andrea Rinciari is an exciting, upcoming young guitarist, very much in the mould of Wes Montgomery with his warm tone and pleasing articulation, but with his own take on the style. He is fast becoming a powerful in jazz and, although having just finished studying, he is already wowing audiences across the UK.” – Nigel Price
10 November – ANDY DAVIES trumpet & NATHAN BRITTON piano
Nathan Britton is the musical director & resident pianist at Piano Bar Soho, working with many world-class artists including Ronnie Scott’s favourite Andy Davies. He has performed on major radio and TV stations such as the BBC, London Live and JAZZ FM, as well as performing at the UK premiere of the Miles Davis film ‘Miles Ahead’ and as part of the London & Barcelona Jazz Festivals.

Tom Cawley is one of the UK's leading jazz pianists. He has performed worldwide - in major clubs, venues and festivals – with some of the country's leading artists, most notably Peter Gabriel, was a founder member of Acoustic Ladyland, led his long-running trio ‘Curios’ and most recently, toured his well-received ‘Catenacio’ album.
24 November - ANDY DAVIES trumpet & RICK SIMPSON piano
A swinging jazz pianist, Rick has presented critically acclaimed original projects through his band, Klammer. This year recently, he released his heartfelt take on the music of Radiohead with ‘Everything All of The Time: Kid A Revisited’. He is the regular pianist with the popular Leo Richardson Quartet.
