Sarah Jane Morris and her band are coming back to their favourite London musical home with ‘ Let the Music Play’, her current album with the Italian producer PAPIK. Let these wonderful musicians lift your spirits into the new year.

Her international success includes hits in Japan, Germany, Greece (two #1 records), and Italy, where she was been awarded the key to the city of Verona, honoured with a European Grammy and won the international Sanremo song festival (only for the award to be swiped by runner-up Grace Jones!).

Concert highlights have included a Swing Ladies concert with Chaka Khan and Monserrat Caballe, a performance in front of 10,000 fans in Athens, the Red Wedge Tour, Venice Opera House, The Verona Arena, Taormina Amphitheatre in Sicily, Royal Albert Hall, European Tour with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, numerous sell-out weeks at Ronnie Scott’s Club in London, and the What Women Want concert with Sinead O’Connor and Chrissie Hynde at the Royal Festival Hall.

Tony Remy is one of the world's most exciting guitar players of any genre. His hard-edged rhythmically driven approach is enriched with jazz intuition and bluesy soul. Live on stage, his relentless invention and incredible raw energy can set the crowd on fire. The reputation he has gained within the jazz community worldwide is fast making a legend out of this North London musician. He has toured and recorded with a wide range of musicians which include: Courtney Pine, Jason Rebello, Julian Joseph, Freddy Hubbard, Jean Toussaint, Omar, Steps Ahead, Gary Barlow, Simply Red, US3, Cleveland Watkiss, Pee Wee Ellis, Ronny Laws, Nelson Rangell, Connor Reeves, Matt Bianco, Karen Ramirez, Noel McKoy, Annie Lennox, Craig David, Icognito, M-People and many more.

Marcus Bonfanti “He will knock you out” Huey Morgan BBC 6 Music. A twice winner of the British Blues Award for Best Acoustic Performer and Best Songwriter as well as countless nominations in other categories, Bonfanti has toured the world with many artists as well as his own band and released 3 critically acclaimed albums. His growing reputation as one of the top performers in the UK and Europe lead to him to being asked to front the legendary Rock & Roll band Ten Years After. He is into his seventh year of fronting the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion whose guests have included Jack Bruce, Eric Burdon, Joe Louis Walker, Sarah Jane Morris, Hamish Stuart and John Nemeth. He has toured, written & recorded with Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Ginger Baker, Van Morrison, Cliff Richard, PP Arnold, Dave Gilmore, Nick Mason, Shuggie Otis, Ronnie Wood, Phil Manzanera, Johnny Hates Jazz, Jason Donovan & Heather Small.

Henry Thomas has played on many records and performed live with artists as diverse as Paul Weller, Randy Crawford, Hot Chocolate, Bros, Gloria Gaynor, Justin Hayward, Working Week, Ginger Baker, Herbie Hancock and Alan Holdsworth to name but a few. He plays across many styles and genres of music from Pop, New World, to Jazz and is regarded as a leading exponent of electric bass guitar in the United Kingdom. He is most widely known as a co-presenter of the highly successful BBC TV series Rock School, about playing in a band covering the basic elements of popular music.

Martyn Barker is drummer, percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, and best known as the drummer for Shriekback. He has also been a member of King Swamp and worked with Robert Plant, Marianne Faithfull, Sarah Jane Morris, Billy Bragg, Beth Gibbins and many more.

“A voice that can excite shivers of passion and delight … Soaring, swooping, sensual and sophisticated, this voice is more than a style, it’s a force of nature … Torch song, soul standard or smoky blues, the message remains constant: human passion with a dazzling voice.” (Neil Spencer, The Observer).

“Those in-the-know rate her as one of the world's great jazz-soul vocalists of the past twenty years and more.” (Vogue Italia)

“…a transcendent mix of cold fury and compassion” THE OBSERVER

“Her voice sounds so deep as to be almost scandalous. More than a great voice, she is several great voices.” HARPERS & QUEEN

“River deep, mountain high, Sarah Jane Morris has a magnificent, enormous voice.” THE SUNDAY TIMES

“Her excellent voice soars and swoops with the agony and ecstasy of the delta and smoky Chicago clubs.” DAILY TELEGRAPH
