The Lovers of Invention pay tribute to one of the most innovative and stylistically diverse musicians of his generation. Zappa’s work is characterised by non-conformity, free-form improvisation, sound experiments, musical virtuosity and satire of American culture.
This 8-piece band from South London, are dedicated to bringing Zappa’s iconic music alive to a new generation. The band attempts to faithfully reproduce Zappa’s original sound while also exploring the spirit of his live variations.
